Scala is a firmly consolidated and renowned business that has been working in the industrial distribution market since 1956.

All the operations are constantly interlinked by a dedicated data transmission network (LAN). The above five operations handle an overall annual total of approx. 20 million parts. This is achieved by seven high density vertical warehouses and at Torri di Quartesolo products are bar coded on arrival to then be managed by specific software on portable terminals operating in radio-frequency. This gives real-time information on the exact location of products and automates the entry and collection sequences of the vertical warehouses and scaffolding. When a customer’s order is registered available stocks are checked and an order to the supplier is issued for any material out of stock.
