Starting in 1968, Eastern India Ball Bearing Merchants Association (EIBBMA) a leading Association of Bearing Traders having close to 500 members has entered in to its Golden Jubilee Year. It is associated with Bharat Chamber of Commerce, Confederation of West Bengal Trade Associations & Confederation of All India Traders. It had celebrated its Silver Jubilee in Taj Bengal, where in Sri Pranab Mukherjee, the then Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission, Govt. of India was the Chief Guest.

EIBBMA strives for the benefit of its members and also looks after their welfare by organising seminars, symposiums and social get-togethers. It provides a platform to our members to represent their difficulties to the concerned Govt. bodies and try to get solution by working with Govt. Authorities.

The Association is also aware of social obligations. In the difficult times faced by our country such as Kargil WAR, Natural calamities in Orissa cyclone, Gujarat Earthquake & Andaman & Nicobar Islands Tsunami, it has always generously contributed for the affected victims. The Association built a School in Village-Bhadiyad, District-Surendranagar of Gujarat, after the devastating earthquake. A donation of Rs. 900000/- (Rupees Nine Lacs) was given for building a Primary School premises at Rangat in Andaman and Nicobar Island for Tsunami affected children.

Dignitaries who have also graced our earlier AGMs as Chief Guests were Mr. B. Muthuraman, Vice-Chairman of TATA STEEL, Mr. R. Makhija, former Managing Director SKF India Ltd, Mr. Kiyotaka Takeda M.D. of NTN Bearing India Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Jamshed J. Irani of TISCO and also Dr. Ashim Kr. Dasgupta Ex-Finance Minister of W.B. and Mr. Nirupam Sen, Ex-Industry Minister of W.B. and many others.
